Koinonia is CCEM's Middle and High School ministry. We meet weekly to study God's Word, pray for each other and fellowship. The Word is taught in an expository manner as we work through each book of the Bible.
Middle and High School can be very difficult time in a teenager's life. Caught somewhere between child and adult, the youth of today are faced with a multitude of life changing temptations and choices. God's Word is living and active and will meet each youth wherever they are. It is the sole authority in our lives to face, deal with and endure life's trials and temptations.
Koinonia strives to lead the youth to build that close intimate personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus tells us to “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you” Matthew 28:19-20.
The youth are discipled and taught to examine every aspect of their life biblically.
We do this through the meaning of our name, Koinonia… Communion with God, Fellowship with Jesus, Oneness with each other and a Shared life by all through Christ.
“built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In Him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in Him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit.” Ephesians 2:20-22
